Ronald Francis Murphy

He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; and parents, Marie and Howard Murphy.

He will be sadly missed by his sister, Janet Olson; nephew, Raymond Olson; Ray’s wife, Christine and their children, Amanda, Charlie, and Mariah.

Ron graduated from Cretin High School class of 1954. He was inducted into the Army and served in South Korea and Japan. He was a Correctional Officer at the Ramsey County Correctional Facility as well as other positions in the security field.

Rom was a member of the choir of Blessed Sacrament Church for many years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Twins.

We will miss his sense of humor, his love, and caring concern for us.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, May 5th at Church of the Blessed Sacrament (2110 Stillwater Ave., St. Paul, MN 55119). Visitation will be a half hour before mass.

Interment at Union Cemetery.
