Passed away unexpectedly Aug. 3rd from a heart attack. Survived by Best Friend, Bridget McKelvey; daughters, Angel and Brittany McKelvey; mistress Purdy; brothers, Mark, Andy and Joel; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Anna Mae Hohbein. Paul was employed at Acme Awning Company. He worked for many years at All American Recreation. Paul loved his job as a salesman, he loved meeting and talking to people. Paul loved the Vikings. He never got over the Vikings loss to the Dallas Cowboys in 1975 (the Hail Mary). He loved to play Pinochle, watch sports, and play pool. He loved being a dad and was looking forward to the girls starting to date when they were 40. Thank you to the staff of HCMC for all of their efforts in trying to save his life and thanks especially to the chaplains for all their kind words and deeds. Visitation on Fri., Aug. 10, 4-8PM at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial on Sat., Aug. 11, 11AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2119 Stillwater Ave. E., St. Paul, with visitation 1 hr. prior. In lieu of flowers (Paul was allergic to them), please consider donating to the American Heart Association, the Union Gospel Mission, or St. Thomas the Apostle parish in St. Paul.
