He was born on April 14, 1966, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Charles and Judith (Sells) Wolkerstorfer.
Mark spent his early years in Roseville, Minnesota, where he graduated from Alexander-Ramsey High School in 1984. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he studied Philosophy and Communications—fields that reflected his deep curiosity about the world and his desire to connect with others.
In 2005, Mark began a new chapter in life with Laura. Together, they built a life full of love, shared adventures, and cherished memories. Mark had a deep passion for the outdoors, often enjoying fishing and deer hunting with his children. His love for these activities was more than a hobby; they were a way for him to bond with family and friends, creating lifelong memories during hunting trips and weekend outings.
Mark was also known for his dedication to home improvement. He took great pride in transforming his home into a welcoming sanctuary, skillfully creating spaces that reflected his meticulous attention to detail. His work in every corner of his house left a lasting impression, and his love for crafting a perfect home was shared with all who visited.
A thoughtful and caring individual, Mark’s ability to connect with others was evident in all aspects of his life. His passion for his work and his commitment to family were always clear to those around him. He began his career in the Petroleum Industry in 1991 with North Stop Oil in Walker, MN. After the company’s sale, Mark transitioned to Molo Companies in 2005, where he started in sales and advanced to the role of fuel buyer in 2016. He and his family moved to Zimmerman, MN, and in 2023, Mark was promoted to Wholesale Divisional Sales Manager.
Mark's life was a testament to the values of love, learning, and family. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, remembered for his kindness, intellect, and unwavering support. As we say goodbye, we celebrate a life well-lived and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those he loved.
Mark is survived by his wife, Laura; father, Chuck (Cheri) Wolkerstorfer; sister, Michele (John) Marvin; children, Ryan, Karleigh, Jacey (Matt), Katie, Emily, and Gavin; and grandchildren, Brayden, Carson, and Mallory.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy.
A visitation for Mark will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul, MN 55106, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
