John is survived by sister, Mary Geisenhoff; wife, Antonette; daughter Kelly (Ben) Tuerk; granddaughters RubyRose and Savanna Margaret.
According to John, he was not afraid of dying; he was afraid of not living life and making the most of his time here. He felt that he stood strong in his beliefs and never let what was socially acceptable stop him from being himself and doing what he loved or believed in. He considered himself one of a kind and felt he was loved by many. His wish is that his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
