Janet "Jan" Elizabeth Peters

August 18, 1960 – March 23, 2025
Obituary of Janet "Jan" Elizabeth Peters
IN THE CARE OF

Wulff Funeral Home

Janet “Jan” Elizabeth Peters was born on August 18, 1960, to parents Robert and Laurel Peters in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Jan was called home on March 23, 2025 at the age of 64, in Mounds View, Minnesota.

A true Minnesotan at heart, Jan spent her childhood growing up in her cherished lake home on White Bear Lake. It was there that she formed lifelong friendships and created countless, treasured memories. She later graduated from Mariner High School, where she began to nurture her creative spirit and passion for the arts, becoming a talented painter known for her beautiful canvas work.

After high school, Jan began what would become a remarkable 45-year career at the Marriott City Center in Downtown Minneapolis. She was a dedicated and beloved member of the Marriott family—known for her thoughtfulness, generosity, contagious smile, vibrant energy, and sense of humor. Jan’s commitment to serving others brought her joy, and she touched the lives of so many with her kindness and unwavering selflessness.

Jan is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Dreyer, and Jennifer’s life partner, Adam Seymour, of Dallas, Texas; her son, Justin Loew of Mounds View, Minnesota; and her cherished granddaughters, Keeghan and Kylie Dreyer, also of Dallas. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Blom of Decorah, Iowa; and her brother, David Peters and husband, Carlos Barrera, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents.

Jan’s love, limitless generosity, and sense of humor left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her. She is deeply missed and now rests in peace with our Heavenly Father.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Jan’s Marriott family for the unwavering love, friendship, and support they showed her throughout the past 45 years. Your kindness and care meant the world to her—and to us.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
