Mom, it has been almost a year now since we had to say goodbye. This has been a very trying year for many of us, but we continue to move forward. Time seems to have moved by so fast, yet stand still. Grandma,
This Thanksgiving is just not going to be the same. I will probably cry missing the says of all the guys from Bretts work, Brett, Dad, and you being at the house for the big dinner. It was always great fun. The coming months are going to be difficult thinking of all the fun we used to have and you yelling at me for not eating turkey on Thanksgiving but eating all the leftovers in the week fallowing. I am going to miss Dad and Brett cursing over having to put up decorations and you telling them it looks fine and going to adjust it when they weren't looking. All the aggravating things that now are so missed. Susan and I were just saying how it still seems odd to us because the kids will do something cute or something funny will happen and we go to call you then remember you are no longer here. It has been seven months and seventeen days since you've been gone and none of us are used to it yet. It is amazing how much you really touched our lives. I love you so much and miss you every second.

Mom, I knew when the day came and you were no longer with us that I would miss you. My heart is breaking on this Thanksgiving knowing you are not here. Kevin was so right when he said You, Dad and Lori are together. I will forever carry you in my heart, thank you for the past holidays that were so special because of You and Dad giving all of us memories that cannot be taken away from us. Love you Mom.  Sue

     I miss you every day. I play the song we chose for your memorial at least once a day but it is so hard to keep myself contained for just once, so it plays several times, very loud too just like I always was with music. I sometimes hear your voice waking me up early still for school, and then I remember I've been out of school for 2 years. Mothers day was hard to not go and buy a gift and a card for you. You'd be happy to know that I recently started a decent job doing night time security in a neighborhood trying to keep others safe. I also did very well in bartending school and work doing that now and then. Grandpa would be proud that I have become a healthy drinker haha... I hope you hear me speaking to you at night while I am working and know that I love you and miss you so much. Monday was our first day of summer and it sure was hot. The family is all on their way to your house to visit for the first time since you've been gone and I hope I get enough time to spend a few days with them. They should be here in the morning and I know you are the main topic of conversation on the drive. We all miss you so much!

Well summer is here in Ohio. It's been in the high 80's and 90's. The flower are blooming fast. Brett did several planters and he's been working around the house.   We only got to know Jackie for three years, but we will remember her for the rest of our lives. She was the "coolest" 80 year old lady we've ever known. Very liberal and independant, and never one to be judgemental. It was a pleasure to know her and we will miss her very much.

To all the kids... I will always have great memories of all of us together when we were little and spent our summers in MN. I was so fortunate to have such a loving Grandma. This was a very tough month for her and as sad as I am to let her go I know her suffering is over. I always told her how much I loved her and we always talked about my childhood and the many memories I had spending summers in Ohio. I had the best Grandparents and now they are together again. She took care of Aunt Lori and Grandpa, and it was such an honor to care for her at the end of her life. She died knowing she was loved. My Mom and Dad provided her great love and comfort and I cannot thank them enough for that. Her boys were planning to come for what would've been her 81st birthday May 1st, but she'll be celebrating in Heaven, I will miss her so much. Nikki
