& Great-Grandmother

Born January 15, 1915. Died peacefully and with dignity on December 30, 2010. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond; sons, Jeffrey and Richard; granddaughter, Lynne. Survived by children, Jerry Proulx, Jeanne Payette, Barbara Callahan and Jim Proulx, their spouses and families. Helen was known and loved for her wit, beauty and steadfastness. She was proud of all her children and took great joy in their accomplishments. She and other mothers of disabled children were the bedrock on which organizations like ARC and Special Olympics were built. Mother, wife, grandmother, friend; but mostly just "Helen". Her kind will not come this way again. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:30 AM at the CHURCH OF ST. PATRICK'S, 1095 Desoto St., St. Paul. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church.
