Elaine Carol (Moore) Reiter

After high school graduation, Elaine moved to the Twin Cities to attend St. Paul Bible College. She married William Reiter in 1961 and they raised 4 children together for 13 years.

She loved her family and was very proud of her children. She was a very welcoming and caring lady who enjoyed creating meals and memories for family and friends. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, taking walks, and water aerobics.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents Tilford and Mary Moore; son Mark Reiter; former husband William Reiter; siblings Clark Moore, and Joan McIntyre. She is survived by children Michael Reiter, Michele (Greg) Prokott, and Marcia Reiter (Dave Bolan); grandchildren Kayla Reiter, Alex Reiter and Jessica Prokott, Alyssa Prokott (Matt Guck); great-granddaughter Meera; and many nieces and nephews and a sister.

Elaine’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 20 at Calvary Church in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Visitation will begin at 10:00 followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00.

Our local memorial will be a park bench dedicated to her at Como Park Pavillion through the St Paul Parks Conservancy/tribute Elaine Reiter.

Mount Hope in her hometown of Omaha Nebraska will be her final resting place.
