He was born on July 17, 1924 to Frank and Florence Leier.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Florence Leier and siblings. He is survived by his two sisters, Doris and Arlene; his partner, Cathy; and his children, Nanette Cubus, Edward Leier, Jeffery Leier, Scott Leier, Sharon Spinks Schoenfelder and Ellen Fontaine Venter; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Edwin proudly served in the US Navy during WWII seeing action both in the Pacific and Atlantic.
Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul.
