Darlene Lois Dunn

Darlene was born on Feb. 16, 1934 in St Paul, MN to Sylvia & John Olson who preceded her in death as well as her siblings, Evelyn, Don & Audrey & their spouses, & her beloved husband of 70 years, Rudy who was the love of her life.

She is survived & missed by her 3 sons, Rick(Camille), Dennis(Bonny) & Scott; grandchildren, Ryan, Cassandra ( Dan) Fries, Rachael (Matt) Janas, Mikaela, Sam (Kat Southard), Rob (Katelin Wilcox) & Louis (Logan); great- grandchildren, Luca & Annie Fries, Ada & Wells Janas, Henrik, Rosalind & Hugo Southard-Dunn, & Arthur & Sally Dunn, nieces & nephews.

Darlene was a lovely blue-eyed blonde and had a sunny disposition. Rudy took one look at her in the hallways of Monroe HS & he was smitten. They married in 1951 & spent 70 very happy years together. They were a couple who did everything together including moving to Omaha, Milwaukee & Chicago for Rudy's work at 3 M Co, golfing, bike trips w/ their good friends, wintering in CA, travel & spending time w/ family especially their much loved grandkids who were spoiled by their Grandma & Grandpa especially on their birthdays & Christmas. Grandma Darlene’s Christmas candy cane cookies are a family favorite. She will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18 at Wulff Funeral Home (1485 White Bear Ave N), St Paul, MN. Visitation at 11 AM, Funeral service at 12 noon & luncheon to follow at the Funeral home.

Memorials preferred to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, as well as the Dementia Society of America.
