Passed away peacefully Saturday January 22, 2011 to join his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Preceded in death by parents, Mathew & Edythe; Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn; daughter, Jane Susan (fiance’ Frank Yonish) and her daughters, Stephanie & Kara; son, Paul Matthew (Linda) and their children, Andrea & Matthew; son Andrew William (Rhonda) and their children, Adina, Eliana & William. He was a loving father and adoring grandfather. Further survived by brother, Donald (Irene); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dale retired after 34 years of service with 3M Company as the Vice President of AC&S Division. He served as Councilman and Police Commissioner for the City of Mahtomedi. Dale was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, skiing and boating. Visitation 4-7 PM Friday, January 28, 2011 at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Avenue, St. Paul. Funeral Service 4:30 PM Saturday, January 29, 2011 at First Covenant Church, 1280 Arcade Street, St. Paul with additional visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
