Tom & family,
I am so sorry to hear of Claudia's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences. My heart aches. Claudia & I were great friends in the late 60's/early 70's while working together at MN Mutual. We worked within a large group of other young women who had so much fun working hard and laughing endlessly.  Many shenanigans outside the office as well! Claudia was pure joy! She & I would often go off traveling together; Hawaii(twice), California, ski & road trips. She would often take the lead on planning these trips, as she was so much more outgoing than I was. As life happens, we both married & lost touch.  I always thought we'd meet up again - someday. The memories of our friendship, trips & adventures will stay with me always. I've read that we are made up of pieces of all who ever touched our life, we are more because of it & we would be less if they had not touched us. So true. Rest in peace sweet, funny Claudia. My heart will forever hold those wonderful memories of my beautiful 18 yr old friend from long ago.  Aloha

How do I say goodbye to my best friend. For 60 years we laughed and played and shared our lives.  Claudia, you are a great teacher of love.  Through your love of Tom, you created a beautiful family and a wonderful life. 
 And you created an incredible bond of love with me.  The many miles between us never felt like we were apart.  Though I could never see you often enough.  I'll miss you always dear friend.  There will never be another like you.  
Tom, Eric, Emily, Natalie, and Nan......my thoughts are with you today and I will always share your love for Claudia as we will all miss her in our lives.

We are so sorry for your loss. Claudia was a special lady, who truly was kind and motherly. I remember my dad took us out to Minnesota one summer. First and only time I’ve seen fireflies. We stayed in your camping trailer and played card games. Claudia made sure we had plenty of snacks and were having a good time. She had such a sweet way about her.  She will be missed.

Claudia and I first crossed paths(literally) at Girl Scouts camps in northern WI. What a delightful and fun experience that was. Fast forward to 40 years later and we find ourselves curling in the same league. Still the bright light and fun-loving free spirit, now channeling joy and love through family. Cherish your memories. Celebrate her life.

I'm sorry to hear about Claudia's passing. I only knew her in high school but she was one of my favorite classmates...smart and funny and kind.

As a member of the Navy Baseball team, myself and countless teammates have fond memories of Claudia cheering us on, supporting us through trials in Academy life, but most importantly treating us as one of her own. We are forever grateful for her maternal care, infectious smile, positive outlook, concern for others and contagious laugh. Thank you Froistad family for the relationships and memories we share together!

I met Claudia during a yearly vacation at a resort on Ten Mile Lake in Hackensack in the early 70’s. Tom came around the corner of cabin #3 holding the hand of the love of his life!  Claudia was beautiful, charismatic and fun.  Her smile was radiant and that hair! Even to an 8 yr old kid-I was in awe!

Through the years, we’d see each other at celebrations and WizKids parties and as always-Claudia was the magic in the room.

There is no greater sadness than losing such a wonderful person who is the sparkling light in your lives. Wishing Tom and family peace and comfort during this sad time and that all your best memories overtake your loss.  With deepest sympathy.

So sorry for the loss of  Claudia she was a special lady. We were neighbors  for many years. Our children grew up together.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God Bless you all.

As Ethan Brinegar's mother, I got to spend some time with Claudia at the car races in Duluth and for Ethan and Natalie's wedding.   I wish that I had had an opportunity to really get to know Claudia better. What I do know is what a kind, thoughtful and sweet person she was. I also know that she was a great mother and will be missed more than words can say.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family members and friends.

I met Claudia when I was 13. She was a year older than me. At the time, her brother Tim was my 7th grade “boyfriend.” We had an immediate connection. Claudia was so fun and full of life. I loved hanging out with her, in  hopes that some of her coolness would rub off on me. We remained friends for years after that, and although we hadn’t been in touch for many years she always had a special place in my heart. She was my role model in so many ways. Her beautiful spirit, her laugh and the sheer joy she brought to the world will be missed. My deepest condolences to Tom and the rest of the family.
