Catherine M. Ries

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne T. Ries; son Douglas W. (Carol) Ries; and son-in-law Donald G. Karpe; sisters Margie Vollhaber and Mary (Felix) Kropelnicki; and brothers Jerome and Joe (Josie) Bovy.

Catherine is survived by her son Rick D. (Ginny) Ries; daughters Jean R. Karpe, Terri L. (Arvid) Stansbury, and Pam J. (Paul) Pignato; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother Eugene F. (Barb) Bovy; brother-in-law Jim Vollhaber; sister-in-law Barb Bovy; and numerous extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul, MN, with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
