The daughter of Bradley Hugh Bienvenu and her adoptive mother, Georgia Champagne Bienvenu. Lisa passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Lacombe Nursing Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Lisa is survived by Her father and stepmother, Brad and Hazel Bienvenu of Lacombe, Louisiana; her sister, Tina Bienvenu and niece, Angelle Lyles of Mandeville, Louisiana; her sister, Dawn Bienvenu Gonzales (David) and nephew, Ethan Gonzales, also of Lacombe, Louisiana; her aunts, Maryann Ledbetter of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Elaine (Tootsie) Bienvenu of Parks, Louisiana; and Della Bienvenu of Catahoula, Louisiana. Also survived by many other cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her adoptive mother (grandmother), Georgia Champagne Bienvenu; and her uncles Gene Bienvenu, Gary Bienvenu and Malvin Ledbetter.
A service celebrating Lisa’s life will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home of St. Martinville at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Fr. Ed Degeyter will officiate. Lisa will be interred in St. Michaels Cemetery following services.
A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service from 9:00 am until time of services.
The family would like to especially thank the K.C. Roy Community Home in St. Martinville, Louisiana for the more than 20 years of loving and attentive care they extended to Lisa. She loved her family there very much. The family would also like to thank the Lacombe Nursing Center and the nurses, aides and chaplain of Harmony Hospice for their compassionate care.
