Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, William Grant Taylor, age 91, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. William was born July 31, 1931 to Earl and Naomi (nee Black) Taylor whom have preceded him in death along with his wife of sixty-eight years, Marcella (nee Sprenger) and his daughter Mary Rosenkoetter.
William leaves behind his children, Bill (Karen) Taylor, Mike Taylor, Marcella (Pat) Duchinsky and his son in law, Rick Rosenkoetter. William was a loving grandpa to David (Katie) Duchinsky, Theresa (Greg) Carlwood, Ryan Taylor, Kyle (Andrea) Taylor, Matthew and Jonathan Rosenkoetter, and one great granddaughter, Theory Carlwood. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
William spent most of his life as an accountant, he enjoyed his time working at Streckfuss Steamers on the riverfront in St. Louis. He also enjoyed going trout fishing, taking family vacations and an occasional weekend getaway with his family. William and his late wife, Marcella volunteered at their daughter’s school working with special needs children.

A Funeral Mass for William is scheduled on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark Catholic Church 4200 Ripa Ave St. Louis, Missouri 63125. Immediately following the Mass will be a committal service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri where William will receive Full Military Honors for his service in the United States Army.
