Warren Bernard French, DDS, age 86, of Frontenac, Missouri, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Warren was born in Little Rock, AR, to Carroll and Eunice French. Warren attended CBC College in Memphis for two years and was accepted early admission to Washington University, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After serving four years in the Navy as a lieutenant, he returned to St. Louis to practice dentistry. He was President of the St. Louis Dental Society, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Member of the Eliot Society, and a lifelong student. He donated his time to provide quality dental care to the Protestant Children's Home and several other charitable foundations worldwide.
Warren especially valued time with his children and grandchildren sharing his love of hunting, fishing and downhill skiing. He also enjoyed teaching his children the importance of self-reliance. Warren cherished time spent with family and friends in Vail and Table Rock Lake.
Warren was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mattie, and children – son Michael (Dao) French and children Chris (Quyen), Sean (Nancy), Michelle, Mitchell and Michiel; son Robert (Lisa) and children Alex (Roxy), Patrick (Ginnie) and Victoria; and son James (Jen) and children Elizabeth (Jacob) Cummins and Katie and great grandfather of Carson and Kennedy Cummins. Warren was preceded in death by his brother Patrick and sister Carolyn.

A visitation for Warren will be held Monday, March 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Kriegshauser Mortuary-West Chapel, 9450 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132. Committal Service at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery will be private.
