Thomas R Painter

Thomas R Painter, age 74, of Bourbon, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Thomas was born February 6, 1946 in Saint Louis, Missouri to the late Mildred Painter (nee Riddle) and the late Ralph Painter.

Mr. Painter was the loving husband of the late Linda Painter and the late Kathryn (Corson) Painter. He was the loving father of Todd (Elizabeth) Painter and Lisa Kekeisen. Mr. Painter was the beloved grandfather of T.J., Jimmy, Hayden, Carson, Zoe, Kurtis, and Claire. He was the dear brother of Ruth Ann Newman, Richard Painter and brother-in-law of Beverly Rohlfing. Dear family to Kathryn's children Joseph Smith, Christena Griffith, Patsy Weber and their 17 children and grandchildren including A.J., K.C., Date, Marshall, and Ava.

Mr. Painter served in the National Guard and worked for Chrysler for several decades as a Fork Truck Mechanic. He could fix about anything and he could build about anything. He even did fine woodworking. The job he enjoyed most was being a loving husband, a proud father and grandfather.

Visitation is scheduled from 2-6 pm., Sunday, November 1, 2020, Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint. Louis, Missouri 63125. The funeral service at 11:30 am., Monday, November 2, 2020 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery, 7600 St Charles Rock Rd,, Saint Louis, Missouri 63133.
