Aunt Theresa was such a kind person.  Spending most of the holidays, birthdays, and celebrations together was always such a fun time for us as kids in part because of the warm and kind atmosphere from all the adults. Aunt Thereasa always had a big smile on her face and spoke in an understanding and compassionate way.  Even though she didn't work as a teacher for many years - she was a teacher at heart. She had a way about her that allowed her to break things down and explain things in a way that was easy to understand. 
One thing I really admire about Aunt Theresa is that even though things were not easy for her (to say the least) I never heard her complain. That's not to say she didn't, but when asked how she was, she was always positive and radiated her beautiful smile.  When she couldn't needlepoint anymore, even though it was a favorite past time and she was so talented in it, I never heard her feel sorry for herself. Even later on when she was wheelchair bound, when asking how she was, she still never complained or wanted pity.  She always seemed to maintain a sense of positivity and resilience  despite things being very physically difficult for her. She was a special person who spoke very highly, with such pride about her children.  
May her memory be a source of strength to all those who knew her and especially her family. May her legacy of being a good and kind person live on through all her descendants.

Dear Eric, Katy, Andy, Corey, and family, 
I'm so sorry for your loss. Theresa was a very sweet person and I always looked forward to seeing her smiling face. We had a lot of great conversations and lots of laughs together that I will always remember.  She loved her family dearly and  I know you all loved her just as much. My thoughts are with you all.
