Shirley Mae Bowman

Shirley Mae Bowman (nee Sansoucie), age 76, of Fenton, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. She was born on April 15, 1947 in DeSoto, Missouri, the daughter of the late Johnnie J. and Eileen M. Sansoucie (nee Smith). Beloved wife of the late Allan L. Bowman. Loving mother of Jennifer Bowman of Arkansas. Dearest sister of Dorrine Cushman of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Rev. Dr. Larry (Cheryl Burton) Sansoucie of Cincinnati, Ohio and Connie Sansoucie-Goddard of Michigan.

Shirley was a dedicated teacher at Fox High School in Arnold, Missouri for over 35 years. She was very passionate about teaching so after retiring from the public school system she went on to teach preschool at The Goddard School for 10 years.

A visitation for Shirley will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
