Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at the age of 88.
Beloved wife, grade school sweetheart and love of her life, the late Richard “Dick” Eckhard; Dearest mother of Richard Eckhard, Sheila Eckhard (Bruce), Suzanne (Jim) Liszewski, John (Kelly) Eckhard, Mary Bridget Eckhard (Mike), Dan (Kathy) Eckhard and Sara (Gavin) Helton; loving grandmother of Erin, Nicholas, Bridget (Jerry), Ellie, Gavin, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Jack, Kate, Claire and Luke; Adored great-grandmother of Eleanor; loving daughter of the late John & Edna Lackey (nee Phelan); Dear sister of Mary Beth (Mel) Beauchamp; our dear Godmother, aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to many.
Sally was a longtime parishioner of St. Pius V Catholic Church.
SERVICE: Funeral Service Thursday, April 27th, 10:00 am at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 3310 S. Grand Blvd. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday, April 26th, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa St. at Watson.
