Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother church, Roger Charles McFarland, age 86, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022. He was born February 24,1936 to Russell, Sr., and Florence (nee Troll) McFarland whom have preceded him in death along with his brother, Russell McFarland.
Roger leaves behind his loving wife, Anita (nee Shaus) along with his son, Randy (Gail) McFarland and a daughter, Renae (John) Brown. He was grandfather to Casey and Corey McFarland, Matt (Chrissy) Brown, A.J.(Katie) Brown, and Scott (Stephanie) Brown, and a great grandfather to Keaton, Wesley, William and Cameron Brown.
A Visitation for Roger will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. A Funeral Mass will occur Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Croatian Catholic Church, 2112 S. 12th Street, St. Louis, MO 63104 followed by a committal service at Resurrection Cemetery, 6901 MacKenzie Road, St. Louis, MO 63123 where Roger will receive full military honors for his service in the United States Army.
