Rick L. Rustige, age 71, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from complications from a liver transplant, he was at home surrounded by his family. Rick was born January 15, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of the late Bernard and Mildred (nee Stuhlman) Rustige.
Rick grew up in the St. Louis Hills and attended St. Gabriel’s and Dubourg High School. He received his teaching degree from Harris Stowe Teachers College and later earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Broadcast from Northwest Missouri State University. Rick retired from Missouri State Habilitation Center where he worked as a psychologist. He was also a family therapist at the Family Resource Center.
Rick leaves behind his loving wife of thirty-four years, Ramonda (nee Cain), whom he met at Northwest Missouri State University. He is also survived by his daughters, Lisa Rustige and Natasha Rustige who both reside in St. Louis, Missouri. He was brother to Vicky Johnson, Debbie Hall, Nancy Armstrong, and Terry Boulware.
Rick believed that Jesus was his Lord and Savior and is at home with Jesus.
Family and Friends may gather on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM at Crestwood Christian Church, 11750 Eddie & Park Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63126.
