Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann Galbierz (nee Tuck); beloved father of Nancy (Mark) Radetic, Tom (Melody) Galbierz, Karen (Duke) Pfitzinger, Linda (Mike) Reinig, and Michael (Janelle Conley) Galbierz; dear brother of the late Simon, Jerome and Andrew Galbierz; dear grandfather of Kelly (Tom) Mueller, Jennifer (Joe) Selsor, Andrew, Mimi and James Galbierz, Amy, Duke Jr. and Ally Pfitzinger, Michael Jr., Matthew and Maren Reinig and Richard Galbierz, II; dear great-grandfather of Mya and Alexa Mueller, Emma, Bridget, Ian and Abigail Selsor; dear brother-in-law, uncle, greatuncle, great-great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He will be missed by all who loved him.

Services: Funeral from HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL Chapel, 6464 Chippewa, Saturday April 2, 2011, 9:15 a.m. then to St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 9740 Sappington Rd. for Funeral Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment private at National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, MO with full military honors. Visitation Friday April 1, 2011, 4-8 p.m.
