Oilin H Thibodeaux

THIBODEAUX, Oilin H., 84, of St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2015. Loving husband of 63 years to Norma (nee Crepps); dear son of the late Charles Jefferson Thibodeaux and the late Mary Adeline (nee: Page)Thibodeaux; beloved father of Mark (Susan) Thibodeaux, Scott (Angie) Thibodeaux and Donna (Chuck) Kiethline; loving grandfather of Kayla & Joshua Thibodeaux, Alyssa, Holly Ann & Amanda Thibodeaux, Samantha & Olivia Kiethline; dear brother of Sally DiMarco, the late Oscar Thibodeaux, Audrienne Thibodeaux, the late Suzie Ebert, the late Jackye Thibodeaux, Ronald Thibodeaux, and Alice Halko; uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Oilin was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. It was while serving in the Air Force that he met the love of his life Norma at a USO dance. From there the rest was history as they say. Oilin worked for Western Electric after his service and then worked for ATT. He retired from ATT as a supervisor. Oilin was a big gardener and loved to share the produce with his family and friends. After brief illness Oilin passed away peacefully. He is missed by his friends, but especially his family, who know he is at peace with the Lord.

Services: Visitation 4:00 -8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Hoffmeister South County, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., Lemay, MO. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
