Monica Grace Wooldridge

Monica Grace Wooldridge (nee Mitchell) age 89, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Monica was born August 28, 1932 in Steelville, MO to the late James and Dora Mitchell; Beloved wife of the late Eugene Wooldridge; loving mother of James (the late Debbra), Timothy (Teri), Charlotte, the late Christopher, Jean (Tom) Grman, the late Matthew and Eileen (Joe) Gmerek; dear grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 23.

Monica was very caring and loving. Her door was always open to everyone she met. And always made them feel like they were part of the family! She was known as the family historian. She loved volunteering at St. Boniface, where she met many great friends. Monica retired from the Red Cross in St. Louis, Missouri. She enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking, the slots and a little something sweet.

A visitation for Monica will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Stephen Protomartyr, 3949 Wilmington, St. Louis, MO 63116. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
