Mike has a way of making you feel like family, or one of his closest friends. Always smiling when he sees you, talking positive, asking about your welfare. I remember him most doing service for his little brothers by watching them and caring for them at the park and pool; by working on my son's eagle scout project, by doing projects for the church and community. I know God is using those talents still; and gave him a happy reunion with family there. We will miss you and your handsome, smiling self. Michael you were such an amazing man. I'll never forget all the night's we shared talking and laughing until one of us passed out. You always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face especially mine. I am beyond grateful to have shared so many memories with you & even more blessed that my children were so greatly impacted by you In such a short time. Little josh still tells me about big Mikes stories before bed and laughs away.It breaks my heart to know your no longer one call away but I know you'll always stay with each and everyone of us. I hope that I can raise my son to be half the man you were. You were the most kind, gentle & caring soul. No matter what we always had an amazing time rather we drove and just talked or watched music videos and sang to eachother. I could write a book with all the memories we shared together. You will forever & always be my Adrian, my best friend, my love & as we promised my stars. Not a night goes by i dont look into the sky and think of you. You were always loved,you will forever be missed & you will never be forgotten. Rest in peace my angel.

Mike was a good primary teacher. The children looked forward to seeing him each week. He had often worked the night shift the night before. Even though he was obviously tired, he would smile and sing with the children.

I never met Mike but I damn sure have met Rich, Rico and Mrs. Ontiveros. I worked with Rich for years at Busch, then watched Rico's brightness as a rookie. 

I have had the pleasure of eating Rich's food, drinking his extreme top shelf liquor and just hanging out.

Intelligence requires me not to speak about that of which I know nothing. My mind cannot wrap itself around the deep darkness of the loss my friends are feeling. 

Just know that I want to wrap them in a hand-stitched, double lined, homemade quilt then jump in the middle and rock the Ontiveros family til the pain subsides.

It's still so hard to believe your in heaven now. It's a lot to take in. I remember the day I called you to see if you could take me grocery shopping for my kids, and though you were busy you dropped what you were doing just to come and take me. These memories will forever be with me and in my heart. Fly high our sweet angel and rest well forever behind those golden gates. We love you forever.

Mike, whether you know or not, my mom really liked you. She called you "teddy bear", she said you were always sweet to her. Thank you for being so kind to her. Thank you for spreading a million smiles while on this Earth. May we meet again in Heaven where the lions and sheeps play. You'll be missed.
