Mary Elizabeth Turnipseed was born January 22, 1952 to Thomas and Johanna (Krail) Breuer in Saint Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Hazelwood High School in 1970. She later graduated from Maryville University.
She was united in marriage to Arthur Turnipseed in 1982. They made their home in Saint Louis County,Missouri. Mary worked for over 21 years at Shriners Hospital in Saint Louis. Prior to that, she worked at Washington University and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Kirkwood, Missouri.
Mary loved and served her church family and was a member of Crestwood Christian Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Arthur Turnipseed, three brothers, Michael Breuer and wife Sally Breuer, Paul Breuer, and David Breuer, one sister, Ann Kelle and husband Dale Kelle, special niece Emily Kelle, special friend and caregiver Dena Rostum, other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Johanna Breuer.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 10:30 to 12:00 noon with a memorial service at 12:00 noon at Crestwood Christian Church, 11750 Eddie & Park Rd. Saint Louis, Missouri. Mary will be laid to rest following service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, Saint Louis, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers,contributions may be made to Crestwood Christian Church in memory of Mary.
