Marjorie Marie Presson

Marjorie (Margie) Presson, 87, of St. Louis, MO Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, December 15, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Louise Boyer; Husband of 65 years, Cecil; Her son Stevie, daughter Pam, daughter-in-law Melissa (Missy) and grandson Matthew. Margie is survived by her children, Kim Presson, Danny (Sue) Presson, Jeff Presson and Kenny Presson; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Margie lived a spirited life, born from humble beginnings in Old Mines, MO. Her and Cecil wed in 1955 and began their family in St. Louis City. They raised 6 children in south St. Louis on Shenandoah before moving to South County in the 1970’s. Margie was a lifelong passionate fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, and was often seen wearing her cardinal attire from head to toe. If you knew Margie then you knew Stevie, her sidekick in life. Their relationship brought much joy to many people for many years. Large family gatherings with her siblings and their families were commonplace at the home on Nightingale, and from those days large family gathering traditions were born and live on today. Margie was truly one of a kind and is no doubt smiling with her Angel Family now.

Margie now lies in rest with her beloved Cecil and Stevie at JB cemetery. For safety and precautionary measures the family will be planning a mass to celebrate Margie’s life in the spring of 2021. An update will be posted when final arrangements are completed.
