Margaret was born on April 23, 1934 in Cardwell, Missouri to Ola Gholson (nee Wilson) and Clarence Gholson.
Margaret is survived by her son Joseph Woodland and his wife Susan Woodland; her sister Brenda Willcutt and her brother Edward Gholson; her grandchildren Emily Woodland, Graham Woodland and Tessa Woodland, her step grandchildren Lindsay Beers and Will Hughes, her step great grandchildren Alyssa Beers and Aubrey Beers.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Alan Loveless and her former spouse Joe Woodland; parents Clarence Gholson and Ola Gholson (nee Wilson); her siblings Price Gholson; William Gholson; Marylou Parker; Peggy Faulkner; Bonnie Montgomery and Robert Gholson.
Margaret was active in the Eureka Senior Center and was an active member of the first Baptist Church.
A visitation for Margaret will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Park Lawn Cemetery, 1800 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125.
