LuAnn Eckert

Leutische A. "LuAnn" Eckert (nee Binder) passed away on November 10, 2020 after a long battle with mesothelioma. LuAnn is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Gloria Binder, and her younger sister, Beverly Laminger. She is survived by her loving husband, Harold A. Eckert, Jr., her youngest sister, Susan Pettigrew, her aunt Maureen Saunchegrow, and her uncle, Eddie Hahler.

LuAnn also leaves behind her nephew, James Laminger, his son, Arthur, and daughter, Annie, and her sister Beverly's first husband, Frank Laminger. She leaves behind many cousins whom she loved, and many many friends for whom she cared very deeply.

LuAnn worked as a waitress, then was hired by the St. Louis Police Department first as a Dispatcher, and then moved to the teleprocessing section. She enjoyed her job as a bartender at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Later, she and Harry moved to Belgrade Missouri to take care of his parents until their passing. They remained in Belgrade and enjoyed their life together there.

LuAnn was a proud member of the Crestwood Elks.

LuAnn was loved and respected by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
