Lawrence L. Jennewein

Lawrence "Larry" Jennewein,99, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 16, 2012. Loving husband to the late Helen (nee Schmitt) Jennewein, loving father of Carol (John) Cleary, grandfather of Cathleen (Jason) Willett, John (Regina) Cleary and Ryan Cleary, great-grandfather of Jack, Joe, Elizabeth, Lily, Auggie and Lucy, godfather of Jeanne Jennewein and Ryan Cleary, uncle, great uncle, and friend to all who had met him.

Larry loved life, his faith, his family, his friends, and the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals. He was an employee of the International Shoe Company and Anheuser-Busch, an usher at Sportman’s Park and Busch Stadium, U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, and a proud member of St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame.

Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. Funeral from Hoffmeister South County Chapel on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 9:30 am then to St. Andrew Catholic Church for 10:00 mass. Interment Mount Olive Cemetery.
