He was born on November 5, 1949, in Munich, Germany to the late Josef and Griselda (nee Von Bergen) Gerner.

Beloved husband of Kathy Gerner (nee Haller).

Loving father of Michelle (Donald) McGuire and Timothy (Amanda) Gerner.

Loving grandfather of Rebecca and Ryan McGuire, Cole and Owen Gerner.

Dear brother of Brigitta Knabe and the late Reymond Gerner.

Dear uncle and friend to many.

Klaus was a member of the Mehlville Alumni Association.

He enjoyed the Cardinals, Blues, fishing, and playing golf.

Visitation for Klaus will be on Saturday June 29, 2024, from 11:00 am-12:00 noon at

Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125.

Funeral service will be celebrated Saturday 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel.

Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
