Dear Mrs. Hartstein, and family.
I only just found out about Dr. Hartstein's passing, a few days ago.  I had left a message, enquiring about him, as he was my Optometrist, in St. Louis, for years, before I returned to California.
I am so sorry for your loss, as he was one of the kindest and caring people I had the pleasure to know.  

Please accept my sincere condolences.  It doesn't say from what he suffered, but I hope and pray that it was not a lengthy illness and that he was at peace.

Dear Mrs. Hartstein and family, 
Dr. Hartstein has been taking care of my eyes for 42 years. He took care of other members of my family at different times of there lives as well including my daughter from the te she was six years old. He was the most kind and sincere man. I only found out o his passing when I called for an appointment. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be sorely missed. He was very much admired and respected. I'll always remember his humor and giving me the "teacher" discounts. Becky Maltman

I am so sorry to just now learn of the loss of Dr. Hartstein. Your family was very good to me during the time I lived in St. Louis in 1989-1990. Jules, in particular, was kind, gracious and giving and made me feel welcomed in a new town.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of Dr. Hartstein. When it became necessary to replace my glasses, Dr. Hartstein understood my financial limitations and found an attractive frame at a very reasonable price.  And his office was always there when I needed to have my glasses adjusted.  For his special understanding and kindness to me, his Memory will always be, for me, a blessing.

   So sorry to hear of Dr Harstein's passing..he was such a nice man.  He took care of my eyes when I first got contacts 40 years ago..and  I was delighted when I found him as Costco these last couple of years.  He will be missed by this patient. Prayers for you all !!
