I was deeply saddened to hear that Dr. Jorge A. Viamontes had passed. He helped me tremendously over a course of 15 years. My life is of a much better quality because I knew him. My heart goes out to his entire family. The world is a poorer place without his wisdom and good heart. May he rest in peace and the warmth of Jesus' love.

I am so sorry to hear about Jorge.  He was such a great man, a true pillar of his community, a resounding success in every aspect of life.  He was and remains a great influence on my life.  I recall conversations with him when I was a boy and a teenager.  He always focused on life's essential truths, weaving in everything he had learned from the challenges of his life into his guidance for his family and extended family.  When I think of him, I think of a man of tremendous strength, determination, love, and optimism.  I, my mother, father and sister, all basked in his light.  We will never forget him.

He stood up for his beliefs and for his family and was a man of great integrity. Thank you to Dr V's many friends who have sent up prayers and get well wishes.  We both felt your support surround us during his final short days and it was truly a blessing.  He had a wonderful life and so young for his 87 years.  Not only do we all miss him, but his loyal companion, Petey, Bichon, grieves for him and the time every evening when he would rest quietly in the chair with him, while Jorge recited the Rosary. He also adored his other two dogs and two parrots. 
He spent his time, since retirement only four years ago, reading his beloved books and enjoying Broadway Shows at the Fox Theatre.  Every summer, we caught up with Archbishop Burke at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine in LaCrosse, WI.  We were just there a few weeks ago. Birthright Counseling was very important to Jorge and the cause to save the unborn babies.  He also enjoyed attending the Symphony with George & family.  Thank you and God Bless all of you.  We would have been married 19 years this October.  Patricia
