John M. Ayers passed away unexpectedly at age 76 on Christmas Day, December 25, 2023 in St. Louis, MO. Loving father of Bryan (Ngoc) Ayers, Stephanie Ayers and one grandchild, Lauren E. Ayers. John was the 9th child of the late Arthur and Annie (Taylor) Ayers. He is survived by one sister, Geneva (the late Norman) Marler and Ronald (the late Phyllis) Ayers.
John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Suzanne (Schneider) Ayers and his youngest son, John Joseph Ayers. John was also preceded in death by his siblings Christine (the late Barney) Lyles, Betty (the late James) Caldwell, Patsy (the late Sherdell) Armon, Shirley (Dan) Charlieville, Cecil (Shirley) Dewey Lynn (Carrol), Ronald (the late Phyllis), Robert (the late Marty), David (Kathy) Ayers.
Visitation Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125.
The funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:30 AM. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery.
