HUTSON, Jerome “Jerry”, 71, passed on August 5, 2016. Beloved husband of Sharon Smith (nee Cerutti); loving father of Jerome and Andrew (Amy) Hutson; dear grandfather of Evelyn Rose, Gwendolyn Mary, and Brooklyn Ann Hutson; dear brother of Rosemary Hutson and Judy (Wayne) Propst; dear step-father, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.
Jerry was a motorcycle enthusiast, life-long mechanic, a “weekend farmer”, and held many interests and hobbies throughout his career and retirement. He honorably served his country in the US Army during Vietnam and proudly supported veterans. Always seeking self-improvement, he demonstrated his dedication to education through earning his B.S. at UMSL at age 35 while working full-time. He further served his country after graduation through 25 years of service as an examiner at NCUA.
SERVICES: Visitation 4-8pm on Monday, August 8, 2016. Funeral 10am Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at KRIEGSHAUSER WEST MORTUARY 9450 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63132. Interment with Military Honors in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery to follow.
