Jean L. Sullivan

Jean Louise Sullivan of University City, Mo, daughter of the late Robert R and Genevieve A (Krafft) Palmer, wife of the late Joseph L Sullivan, mother of the late Dr. William J Sullivan, entered into rest surrounded by family on December 30, 2014. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Dr. Donna L Sullivan, and grandchildren: Erin Sullivan-Ortiz, Curtis, Kathryn, and Megan Sullivan. She is also survived by her stepsons Michael, Ron, and Dennis Sullivan and their families; she is the grandmother of 12, and great-grandmother of 18, dear sister, aunt, niece, sister-in-law, and cousin.

She was an active leader in the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri for over 50 years. Her involvement and leadership included participation in summer camps, fundraising, community service, troop leadership, and much more. She was also very involved in her American Legion Auxiliary Post 338 as well as AARP chapter 4048.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Fri., Jan 2, 2015, Kreigshauser Mortuary-West, 9450 Olive Blvd. Visitation will be from 9 am until time of service. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Jean has requested donations in her name to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, and to the Boy Scouts of America, as both her brother and son were Eagle Scouts.
