Berra, James L., Baptized into the hope of Christ's Resurrection, Thursday, August 12, 2010; dearest son of the late Charles H. and Mary T. (nee Cassani) Berra; dear brother of the late Jean Hummert; loving uncle of Wayne, Sherry, Terry and Rick; he was a life-long friend of Paul Modica and dear friend of Joe Kunze; James served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during the Korean War and was considered the best in his field as a radio tech. He was well known in St. Louis as one of the best radio and television technicians.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in James's name to the U.S.O. or to the Humane Society of St. Louis, 1201 Macklind Ave., St Louis, MO 63110
Services will be conducted in the Chapel of CALCATERRA FUNERAL HOME, 5142 Daggett Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110 on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 11:30 A.M. The interment will follow with full Military Honors in Resurrection Cemetery.
