Adoring husband of 56 years to Karen Williams (nee McClanahan); Jack leaves behind his heartbroken girls, Cyndi (Patrick) Weir, Terri (the late Chuck) Shelton and Kelly (the late Scott) Griffard; most beloved UJ to Ellyn Welker, Anna Weir, Maggie Weir, Eric McClanahan, Erica (Mark) Brown, Nicole Kritzer, Jake (Becca Shaffer) Konradt, Alex Griffard and Aubrey, Sam, Ollie, Eli, Laila, Leo, Tempe and Lilly; dear brother of Bob Williams; special uncle to Bobby (Katie) Williams & Beth (Scott) Liefer; great-uncle to Charlie & Bailey.
Jack never met a stranger, was always the life of the party and he was a friend of so very many. He was the sole patriarch of the family for well over two decades and simply could not have done a better job. He absolutely adored his family, and showed it in every way big and small. Jack loved travelling, taking care of his yard and cars, and snuggling with his beloved dogs throughout the years. Our hearts are broken and we will forever be missing him, but look forward to the day that hilarious memories of him again bring full belly-laughs and not these tears.
SERVICE: Funeral Service, Monday, November 8th, 10:00 am at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street at Watson. Interment with Full Military Honors to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary.
