Granny you are the rock, and the heart and soul of this family. I am truly honored to have known such a stubborn, sweet, and caring lady. Our lives are forever better because of you and what you have taught all of us. You will be missed but never forgotten because you live within all of us.?????

There isn't enough room on here for thirty two years worth of memories that you and I share together. I am so fortunate to have grown up with you, to have seen that beautiful, warm smile damn near every day of my life. You were my third parent, my friend, my disciplinarian, and my partner in crime.  I'm so blessed to have had as much time together as we had, and there is an emptiness that will never be filled now that you are gone. You are the strongest person I know, and because of what you've taught us, we are trying to follow in those footsteps. Doesn't work all the time, but we'll keep on pushing like we know you would want us to. I'm so grateful you got to spend what time you could with my baby boy, and there's not a doubt in my mind you, along with my dad, pop in from time to time to check on him, as well as all of us. I hope you know how truly you are missed, and how hard it is to have to let you go. I know you are free of pain now, and after such a long struggle, it's what you deserve, and that's the thought that stops the tears. I love you more than I can put into words, and I'm so thankful for the time we had together, whether they were good times or rough times. It is mine now to keep inside, something that can never be taken away, and I wouldn't trade a second of it for anything in this world. You're my heart, I miss you like crazy but I'll see you soon. I truly cannot and probably never will find a word to describe what this woman meant to me but a sentence of any kind would never do her the justice or credit she deserves. It wasn't that long ago that I was truly at the bottom of the barrel yet that woman would speak to me and I would know in my heart that not only would I do better but I would be the man that she and my mother knew I was born to be; a father, a husband, and in my heart, a man of God. Thank you Grandma for helping me when most just turned their backs and for good reason. Most will say they miss you but I wont say that. You can only miss what is lost and you and my Dad are not lost but forever by my side. I love you, Grandma.

As far as grandmas go your the Joe Lewis. But as far as friends go your first. As far as my grams goes I loved you, if it wasn't for you, the foundation and everything I believe in would have fell apart a long time ago. When times were bad in my life and it was really scary you never gave up on me. I stand for the things I stand for because of you and two others. From boxing to baseball and all the time in between I love you so much because you loved me so much. I'll see you soon Grams. Later

In your passing, you have left all of us so many gifts.  Your love, your light, has touched us all and we are truly blessed by it. You have given Heaven its most precious angel. You will be missed greatly and cherished forever. Love you Granny.

Was just thinking about some of the things we did over the years and how I would always have to come and curl your hair for you before we went anywhere because "nobody could fix your hair like Sherry".  So many times you saved us from being our own worst enemy.  But we just couldn't ask you to put up with the constant pain any longer and we had to let you go.  Rest assured, we will always remember your many lessons.  We will carry on your tradition of loving in our own families and your tremendous legacy will live on forever.  Only wish you could too.  Love you always.

Just can't quit talking to you.  I wanted to let you know that Sue is planting a rose bush outside Larry's window to always remind him of you and your great love for him.  We are also planting an azalea bush in the back yard where you could have seen it from your place at the table.  We all miss you so very much.  Even though we are glad you no longer hurt we miss you more than you could possibly ever believe.  Love you always and forever.

The comfort you gave me in the good times and not so good times are priceless to me. You are an amazing mother and grandmother.  You are missed and loved by so many. I love ya grandma.

Granny to me was a Very Special Person. I enjoyed the times that I was able to see Her. 
And will always remember the fun times when we went out to Karaoke/Clubs. 
She was always in Good Spirits. She was an Amazing Woman and Friend. Always willing to help if She could.

I know that She was Very Grateful for all the Love, Help and Support that She was given by Family and Friends throughout Her Life. Especially in Her last days.

It's so hard to sum up my Gma in such a small space.  She was a beautiful, kind and selfless woman, which went through her life, fulfilling her perceived duties as a mother, a father, a grandmother and friend. She gave of herself in so many ways, sacrificing personal comforts in order to ensure that others had them... whether it was for her children or grandchildren. Of all the things that she taught me, it was to see the value of the little things and the Cardinals are the ONLY team you need to watch. 
Watching her when she would put in the time and effort of creating something new and beautiful for her Christmas village or the fun she had coloring a fuzzy poster. That woman had mad skills when it came to crafts, art or anything involving the use of her hands.  I will always carry that love of painting, making, and building with me, always.
My sorrow comes not in the loss of my Gma (she is, and always will be with me), but more for the loss of opportunity to say all that could have been said during her time in this world.  You are greatly missed Gma and please save me a seat!

In our lifetime we meet many people, some will be lifelong friends, others will be known as acquaintances, and some will become family.  I was fortunate enough to become a part of your family. I am glad that I had the opportunity to know you. You were a great example to everyone. I never heard you complain or talk negative about anyone or anything. You always had a smile on your face and when asked how you were doing would always reply “I'm doing alright”.  You will be greatly missed, but this is not goodbye, so until we meet again some sweet day in heaven… I love you.

Mom, I will miss you terribly.  For years we have spent our weekend mornings having breakfast at Denny's and then doing WalMart aisle by aisle. What to do now? This was our time.  You have seen me at my worst and at my best but loved me unconditionally anyway.  You are forever in my heart and I will always love you more than I can possibly put into words.

So many of my childhood memories involve Grandma teaching me how to paint, sew, and make crafts. I remember her sitting there with a needle and thread, humming with her headphones on and when I pulled them away to listen, it was rap. It was 1987 and to this day, I can't remember who it was. She was beyond her years even then. She is someone we should all aspire to be like. You are missed and loved.

You will always be the brightness that lit our way.  With you gone, our lives feel a bit dimmer, but we know that your light will always be strong.  Love you more than words.

I will never find another person as warm, loving and caring as Grandma. We will miss you.
