Eugene Karius

Eugene L. Karius, age 82, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022. Eugene was born September 30, 1939. Eugene was born in St. Louis, MO to the late William P. and Helen (nee Berry) Karius Sr. beloved husband of Edna Karius (nee Shelton); loving father of Robert (Christine) Karius, Edward (Yvonne) Karius and the late Eugene (Gina still surviving) Karius Jr.; loving grandfather of Bryan, Amanda, Felicia, Tasha, Melyssa, Jessyca and William; great grandfather of Trevor, Andrew, Starr, Vada, Karlee, Kenzie, Kennedy, Cole, Carter, Khloe, and Gwendolyn: dear brother of William (Carol) Karius and Tim (Debbie) Karius. dear uncle and friend to many.

Eugene retired as a Cement Mason after 60 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, art and collecting antiques.

A visitation for Eugene will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. Funeral service Thursday, 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
