IMO, Ermanno “Mando”, 83, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, October 18, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Julie A. (Pesselato) Imo; loving father of Gina (Mike Piazza) Imo; dear “Nanu” of Vincenzo, Giovanni, and Luciano Imo Piazza; dear brother of Enrico (Fedra), Carletto (Lidia), and the late Giovanni (Maria) Imo; dear Godfather, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.
Mando was born in Rubone, Bernate in Italy. He served in the Bersagliere of the Italian Army before emmigrating to America in 1967. He was also a founding father of the Italia-American Bocce Club.
SERVICES: Visitation 3-8pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at CALCATERRA FUNERAL HOME 5140 Daggett. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Thursday, October 24, 2013 St. Ambrose Catholic Church, corner of Wilson and Marconi. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
