One of the sweetest and most bubbly persons I have ever known. Kind and caring, witty and full of love. It was a privilege to have had Blaise bring her into our family. She will be sorely missed.

The sound of Emily's laughter has always stayed with us.  An intoxicating presence, the most lovely of smiles, just enough wickedness to her humor and without a doubt, the most beautiful of humans.  To Emily's family, there are no words for this loss.  Your girl, this amazing woman, touched everyone she encountered.  Barry and I will keep Em in our hearts and thoughts always. Emily is my cousin and I always enjoyed her company when we had family reunions which unfortunately didn't happen enough.  She was extroverted, sophisticated, had a great sense of humor and most importantly, was a kind caring person. When my mother was dying of cancer Emily came to help out which meant so much to me. I'm do sorry I'll never see her again.

Emily was smart as a whip, clever and kind, a real zest for life. I feel lucky that I got to spend a few years in her company when she lived in Los Angeles. Whenever I find myself on a dog hike, around a tortoise, at an ecclectic dinner party, or see a broad in a straw sun hat, I shall think of Emily.

Lee, I am so sorry for your tragic loss. Alla Lubin told me that Emily had a beautiful infectious laugh that lit up every room she walked into. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I still cannot believe this sad and shocking news! Emily's humor, bright light, and Emily-isms, among all the other things she brought to this world, will truly be missed by all who knew her. My thoughts and condolences are with Lee, the kids, and Emily's family at this time.

I am totally devastated and shocked beyond belief.  Emily and the KellyMitchel family gave me an opportunity when no one else would. She was my #1 cheerleader and from the moment I spoke to her on the phone, I knew she was a special lady.  I will miss her so much! I did not know Emily, but every time Liz speaks of her, her eyes twinkle, her smile gets brighter, and her laughter grows.  What a legacy she is leaving you, Liz.  We should all hope to touch our loved ones the way she touched hers.
