Dorothy Ackermann, age 97, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on March 10, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Frank T. Ackermann; loving mother of Susan (Bill) Molz, Kenneth (Cathy) Ackermann, and Nancy Ackermann; dear grandmother of MaryBeth (Mike) Chavez, Michelle (Brian) Awalt, and Tracy (Dave) Wessel; great grandmother of A.J., Nina, David, Abby, and Alan.
Dorothy was most definitely involved in her children's lives growing up as a Room Mother, Scout and Assistant Scout Leader, and making uniforms for the Epiphany Drum & Bugle. She was also a member of the Epiphany Home and School Organization and Epiphany Ladies Guild including 25 years of Epiphany Ladies Guild Luncheon and entertainment. She loved to sew, knit, and crochet.
SERVICES: Visitation 4-8pm Tuesday, March 14, 2023 Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary. Please meet at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church for 9:30am Mass on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Burial Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial suggested to the St. Louis Activity Center.
