Dominic Marfisi

MARFISI, Dominic, Strengthened with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on August 30, 2016. Devoted husband of the late Eleanore Berra Marfisi and dear brother of the late Marian (Joseph) Ferreri and step-brother of the late Hugo (Evelyn) Baldesi. Loving uncle to Paula Collora, Ralph Ferreri, and James and Faye Berra Venegoni, and great-uncle to Anna Rose Venegoni and the late David Collora. Loving uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, godfather, and lifelong friend to many many more. His love of his wife, Eleanore, was only matched by his love of his faith and his devotion to St. Ambrose Church. Uncle Dom was an accomplished painter and sculptor who generously shared his talents with St. Ambrose Church and the Hill. A veteran of World War II, and a recipient of four Bronze Stars, Uncle Dom was active at St. Ambrose as a dedicated member of St. Vincent de Paul and the Holy Name Societies, as well as the Italia America Bocce Club, Daily World Missionaries, Hill 2000, and a lifelong friend and member of The Ravens. The family would like to thank Provision Living at St. Louis Hills for all their care. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Dominic’s name to St. Ambrose Church or The Sick and Elderly Program of The Hill, 2315 Macklind Ave., St. Louis MO 63110. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 9 am, Memories and Remembrances at 10:45am, St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5130 Wilson Ave., St. Louis.
