I am so thankful that I got to spend tme with you. You were  so much like Grandma. Strong willed and independent.  You weren't as tough as you wanted people to think you were, because under that tough exterior was a heart  that loved family with the same passion.

My grandma was pretty headstrong (a trait that's evident in my dad as much as it is my brothers and I). I remember once, when the latest gameboy came out, Sean and I HAD to have one, and over my dads objections, she went out and got us one anyway. As a kid, that was one of the great moments of my childhood, where we got to be cool because we had the new gameboy.

I've known Dutch for a few not as many as other. It was nice to know her. She wasn't the kind of person who didn't want much. If she needed something done she would do it herself instead of asking. Well Dutch I was just thinking about u. It was nice knowing you and being your friend.

My grandma was really stubborn, but she was also a great person and could always make me laugh. One of my favorite memories I like to share when telling people about her is how she was out working on her roof in temperatures above 90 degrees. She was a tough one, and I'll miss her.
