Daniel J "Dan" Warmke, age 79, of Creve Coeur, received the Sacraments on Holy Mother Church on September 3, 2018. Dan was born January 17, 1939 in South St. Louis, a son of Frank and Estelle Warmke, nee Grzyb.
Dan is survived by his wife of 45 years Arlene Warmke, nee Vargo; sons Timothy Andrew Warmke and Christopher Michael Warmke; grandchildren Rosalyn Eve, Scarlett Josephine, Violette Catherine, Frank Fitzgerald and Mary Etta Estelle Warmke.
Dan was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting duck, deer and turkey. Dan was also a boater and tended his garden at home. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and organized sporting clay shoots.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Monday September 17, at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church, 403 S Lindbergh Blvd., St Louis, Mo. 63131. A memorial visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service. Private inurnment of cremated remains will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum in Lemay.
