Died peacefully in her sleep on January 4, 2022. Catherine was born on June 15,1955 in Belleville, Illinois and lived in St Louis for most of her life.
She is the daughter of Virginia and the late Lester (Mike) Berkel. She is survived by four sisters: Patricia (Carl) Bussmann, Jean (Bill) Kopp, Mary (Kevin)Pasbrig and Susan (Ken) Dinquel and four brothers: David (Ginger) Winston, James (Debby) Berkel, Joseph (Denise) Berkel and Richard (Katrina) Berkel. Three siblings, Donald, Angela and Andrew, preceded her in death.
Catherine attended the Academy of Notre Dame in Belleville and was a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Her career was in advertising and she was a gifted artist and painter.
Catherine will be greatly missed by those who loved her. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date
