Adele, daughter of the late Ronald and Esther (Hyde) Bradley of Linneus, MO was born March 18, 1928. On February 18, 1951 she was united in marriage to Donald Roy Barnett of Bogard, MO. They were happily married for 58 years.
Adele is survived by a son Bruce (Sara) Barnett of Marthasville, and a daughter Martha (Barry) Ginsburg of St. Louis. She is survived by grandchildren Brooke (Barnett) McEwan, Mason (Becca) Coffman, Rebecca Coffman, Andrea (Joshua) Strosberg, Hilary Ginsburg, and great grandchildren Amelia and Mathew Allen, Maayan, Yonah, Tehila, and Daniel Strosberg.
Adele was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother David and granddaughter Natalie Ginsburg.
Adele attended Linneus School and graduated from Central College, Fayette, MO in 1950 where she studied voice and piano and was a soloist with the Central A cappella Choir. She was a school music teacher at Easton and Linneus where for many years she taught private voice and piano lessons. She was also an active church member and regular vocal soloist and keyboard accompanist at the Linneus, Bowling Green, Keytesville and Carrollton United Methodist Churches. She was a devoted wife and loving mother to her family, hosting many wonderful family gatherings and celebrations.
Graveside services and interment will be April 10 at Van Horn Cemetery, Tina, MO.
