I'm really, really sorry about your aunt Sharon.  This must be tough, being unexpected. 
When I think of "Stan and Sharon", to me it means celebration, or family gathering, the same as hearing "John and Céline".  Those names are just constants for me over the years: positive people who are always happy to see you.
I remember Sharon would always have a clever word for me, or you guys.  Of course speaking with young people was part of her profession, so she did it really well.  I was happy to hear about all the travel and time away that your aunt and uncle have had in retirement.  Not everyone makes that happen in time.  
You guys have a great and really fun family, so many of whom have lived in Montreal with you your whole lives. What a blessing, what luck, and what a chance to share, to learn, and to love.. even more!

Sharon loved life.  She could not image life going on without her.  She was determined; she worked very hard to achieve her goals and tackled her bucket list with a clear and precise plan that probably came from the years of training as a teacher.  The world was an oyster to be explored, conquered and learnt from.  She would tell you to your face that she was not humble but she was willing to give you the shirt off her back and at times would even ask you what colour you wanted.  She could be forthright but also knew when to stand back and support you from the sidelines.  Life at times was fun and she showed it with her ready laugh and that laughter sometimes came during some very interesting situations that left you scratching your head as to what was so funny.  She loved her needlepoints, at one time they were her passion. She loved covering the walls with these pieces of her art and even sharing them with those she felt would appreciate what they meant to her.  Her greatest love was the years when she and Stan faced the world as one.

Stanley, words cannot express our most deepest sympathy to you and all your family. I am completely devastated and bereft at the loss of my dear friend. I would like to write some personal thoughts if I may  Love and prayers to you. 

Sharon IS my friend her passing does not change that. We may not have known each other for lots of years but I felt both emotionally and spiritually as if we had known each other all our lives.

I would like to think that Sharon her mother and Stanley's mother are happily reunited and sharing a pot of tea, just remember I like Twinnings Early Grey with a slice of lemon so keep  the water hot until we meet again.

Sharon and I chatted 3-4 times a day sometimes a little sometimes a lot. Despite the fact that I live on the other side of the world 12 hours time difference we knew when each other went to sleep, got up and even the times when we went out or away. I will miss the little side remarks when we both put in good words on "Word with Friends"

My husband John and Sharon continually sent each other jokes and emails the joke of the day was a highlight of the day,

Dear Stan, I am so sorry to hear of Sharon,s untimely passing. I really enjoyed both of your company and friendliness on our Baltic cruise last year.

Thank you Sharron for all of the great times. The very recent trip to a snowy beautiful Quebec City, the great times we had earlier this year with you and Stan in Palm Dessert, the many glasses of wine shared on your deck and the dips in your pool, the countless celebrations (Christmas, birthdays, ....) over the years. Sharon and I are first cousins. We didn't really connect until later years . I had always admired her commitment to her mother, Laura, my aunt, who suffered so many years from Alzheimer's . And then I experienced first hand the degree of her devotion when I took my late mother, Helen and my aunt Millie, to visit their sister , Laura, in the Nursing Home in Quebec. My respect for Sharon grew and I got to know her better over the past 10 years. I returned to Brossard several times to visit Sharon & Stan and they have visited me in Maine as well. I am heartbroken by her sudden passing. She was so full of life, adventure, and love. Sharon was also very competitive. We were "Words With Friends" buddies and fanatics. We always had several games going. In fact we were playing one another that tragic Saturday night of her death. I still can't believe she is gone. We had plans to get together this summer. I feel very blessed to have had Sharon in my life if only for a brief time. She loved to travel, make new friends and be with her beloved Stan, her family and friends. She left us too soon. She will be missed by all who crossed her path as she made a difference in this world with her devotion, faith, laughter, empathy, and passion.

She was always so professional and such a reassuring support. Yet her warmth and humour always shone through.

My sympathies to your family in this time of grief. I have fond memories of Mrs. Rasytinis as Vice-Principal of my high school. Again, I'm deeply sorry for your loss.
